Northwest Region 1 Informal Meeting

The Informal Informational meeting of Region 1 was opened by Governor Kevin Connelly at 1:35 p.m following Saturday lunch at the Red Lion Hotel at the Park in Spokane, WA. 

Doris Abbate thanked all present at Northwest Region 1 meeting for their hospitality at the 48th AIP Annual Meeting.

Members present at the meeting were: Ranola F. Blackshear, Stan Sturges, Don Peters, Keven Connelly, Grace Vera, Barbara Pugh, Weldon Merritt, Barbara Hostutler, Ann McCartney, Mary Randolph, Paul McClintock, John McLaughlin, and Maxine Alloway.

Purpose of meeting is to discuss the 2008 Northwest Region 1 conference to be held sometime in May.  After some suggestions it was agreed to let the Governor set the date and place and send out information in the newsletter "Northwest Nugget".   Northwest Region one covers chapters in Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and BC.

Maxine Alloway thanked Northwest Region 1 for the $300 for AIP Annual Meeting Hospitality Room at the Red Lion Hotel.   John McLaughlin was thanked for the wine donated for hospitality room. Meeting adjourned at 1:00 p.m.

Executive Officers Meeting of Northwest Region One of AIP

The Region 1 officers gathered for a short meeting.  Present:  Gov. Kevin Connelly, Lt . Gov. Stan Sturges, Secretary Maxine Alloway, and Treasurer Raynola Blackshear.

Governor Kevin Connelly called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. Gov. Kevin appointed Stan and Raynola as minutes approval committee.The Executive Board ratified the decision to give $300 to the Spokane-Alyce Baker Chapter No. 2 for the Hospitality Room with no objections. Further action agreed with no objection was to give any balance of the $300 back  to the Spokane-Alyce Baker Chapter No. 2 for any additional expenses in hosting the Annual Meeting.

Meeting adjourned at 1:07 p.m.
